Third Clinic Day

The third day of clinic was another new location. The drive was "supposedly" an hour ... but the trip home took much longer because of "Indian traffic". If you've never been there, you just can't picture it.

There was a bit of a distance to get to the clinic site after arriving in the bus. Look at this special treatment to get there!

These are some of the hosts for this location, welcoming the team to their home.

Look at their cool refrigerator!

The team received a special welcome going into the clinic location. The locals are so grateful to have them there and treat them a little like celebrities.

Here are some of the pictures of the clinic. On this day, they served 150 people, distributing 168 glasses and 150 sunglasses.

The team was treated to a special drink right in a coconut!

Cassandra added a bit of flair to her hat with the marigold lei the team was given during their welcome.

And Tracey is looking all tropical and fits right in with that palm tree behind her!

"This sweet woman, who I just loved, said she would be able to read her Bible after getting her reading glasses." - Becky

The team also shared that there was an older man that had difficulty walked that came to clinic. He was evaluated and needed both distance and reading glasses because his old glasses didn't work for him anymore. He was so grateful that he went around to everyone thanking them, while wearing his new glasses ... even with his walking difficulties.

Those stories remind us that these glasses and this team are making a difference in the lives of people on the other side of the world. God is moving there, too!

Thank you for your continued prayers for this important mission. You can expect another post soon with some fun and then the 4th day of clinic, too.
